Director Matthew Weston started his career in ICT at the age of 15 at repair centres, providing telephone support, technical repairs, new system builds and on-site networking.

Since then he has progressed through various companies providing experience in a wide range of skills from networking, public relations, sales and consultancy. His experience includes working in small/medium businesses, large retail outlets and even government systems where he provided ICT services and took the lead on systems analysis and design for a number of local government education centres.

Matt graduated from University with Beng Hons; a degree that required significant study of management systems, company development, procedures and protocols. From this, Matt's professional development focuses on providing total quality techniques to his own organisation so that you, the customer, can benefit from an efficient, professional and personal service. It's that personal service that seems to have largely disappeared these days, hence our mission statement - Caring ICT Solutions

In 2008, he took his combined experience to create his own company, DesignIT Wales, providing general ICT services to the public, small to medium businesses and local government. DesignIT Wales also provided tuition to a range of audiences from complete beginners to experienced and professional ICT users, delivering recognised and accredited qualifications. DesignIT Wales also developed a speciality in providing premium quality managed web hosting services to help put you on the internet the way you want to be.

Whitsol Limited was later formed to satisfy the demand of new businesses requiring the same high quality grade of service, but operating outside of the South Wales area. These services are provided under the brand of WestechIT.
